BOY HORROR

Boy Horror is a new work developed as part of QDP 2024 which builds on a previous performance apparatus video work, Body-Resistance 01 // To Give of One Tenth of Myself. This development resituated this work, which explores the act of tucking as a protest against Freudian Theory of Kastrationangst, in a live performance context. This development was a new experimentation by the artist in cross-pollnating their modes of clowning, contemporary dance, and fine arts theory, sculpture and performance.
